VORT vs CBT: What’s the Difference?
We often get asked, “What’s better — VORT or CBT?” Great question!
- CBT (Competency-Based Training): You get assessed over multiple lessons, and once you meet all the competencies, you’re ready to drive.
- VORT: A single on-road test where you’re scored on specific tasks. You must pass the whole test in one go.
At Sunshine, we offer both options — but if you’re going for VORT, we’ll train you specifically for test-style conditions so there are no surprises.
What Does the VORT Include?
Here’s what you’ll be tested on during your VORT:
